KIN52 HR portal and mobile app · Last updated 04/10/2026

KIN52 HR is the human-resources and payroll system of KIN52 and its group companies in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. It is used by employees, managers and the HR team through the website kin52-hr.kin52.com and the KIN52 HR app for iPhone and Android. This policy explains what personal data the system processes, why, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

The KIN52 company that employs you is the controller of your personal data. Questions and requests go to your HR department (KIN52 Human Resources).

Who can use the app

KIN52 HR is for KIN52 employees only. There is no public sign-up: accounts are created by the HR team for each employee, and the app is a secure way to reach the same account as the website.

What we process

  • Identity and contact: name, employee number, work e-mail, phone, photo if provided, emergency contacts.
  • Employment: company, department, position, manager, contract and work schedule.
  • Payroll: salary and allowances, deductions, social-security (NSSF) and income-tax data, end-of-service amounts, loans, bank details for salary transfers (including UAE WPS).
  • Time and attendance: attendance records, time-off requests and balances, shifts.
  • Documents and requests: HR letters and certificates, receipts you attach to expense claims, requests and approvals.
  • Performance and development: appraisals, objectives, training records.
  • Benefits: medical-insurance enrolment and dependants where applicable.
  • Security records: sign-in session, and an audit trail of who did what in the system.

The mobile app on your phone

  • Camera and photos: used only when you choose to take or attach a photo or a file, for example a receipt. Nothing is read from your library otherwise.
  • Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint: if you turn on App Lock, your phone checks your biometrics and only tells the app "yes" or "no". Your biometric data never leaves your phone and is never sent to KIN52.
  • Notifications: if you turn them on, a notification token from Apple or Google is linked to your account so we can tell you about approvals, time off, payslips and HR messages. You can turn them off at any time.
  • Files you open: exports and documents you open in the app (payslips, reports) are stored temporarily in the app's private cache and cleared when the app restarts.
  • No tracking: the app has no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not follow you across other apps or websites. Your data is never sold.
  • No location, contacts or microphone access.

Why we use it

  • To manage your employment and pay you: payroll, payslips, time off, attendance, expenses, loans and benefits (performance of your employment contract).
  • To meet legal obligations: labour, social-security and tax rules in Lebanon and the UAE, including NSSF and Ministry of Finance declarations and UAE Wage Protection System files.
  • To keep the system secure and accountable: access control, audit trail, fraud prevention (legitimate interests).

Who receives it

Inside KIN52, only the people who need it for their role: you, your managers for your team's requests, and the HR and payroll teams. Outside KIN52, only as needed: government bodies (such as the NSSF and the Ministry of Finance in Lebanon, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in the UAE), banks for salary transfers, insurers for medical cover, and the service providers that host and run the system under contract (cloud hosting and database, e-mail, and Apple / Google notification services when you turn notifications on). Some of these providers may process data outside Lebanon and the UAE, under contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

For the duration of your employment, and afterwards only for the periods required by Lebanese and UAE labour, social-security and tax law, or needed to handle a claim. It is then deleted or anonymised.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Access is limited by role, every privileged action is recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail, and uploaded files are stored privately. On your phone, the app keeps your session in its private storage only, excludes it from phone backups, and can be locked with your biometrics.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable data-protection laws (including Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data and UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data), you can ask to access your data, correct it, receive a copy, or object to or restrict some uses. Many details can be checked and corrected directly in the app (My Profile). For anything else, contact your HR department (KIN52 Human Resources).

Deleting your account

Your KIN52 HR account is provided by your employer, so it is not deleted from the app itself. To have it closed, ask your HR department (KIN52 Human Resources): HR deactivates it, and deactivation is automatic when you leave KIN52. Your personal data is then deleted or anonymised, except the records KIN52 must keep by law (for example payroll and social-security records), which are kept only for the legal period. You can remove the app and its data from your phone at any time by uninstalling it.

Children

KIN52 HR is a workplace tool for employees and is not intended for children.
